This seemed like a good buy to me as a newby. I got it in today and smelled it but it wasn't what i expected and i didn't like it that much.

It is a versatile fragrance and safe bet for any occasion. This masterpiece will never get old. There are many unique bottles out there, but this doesn’t try to mimic any of those. Absolutely worth it. Yes, suitable for daily use. No, there are no "quality" issues with it. It does smell synthetic, because it's 100% synthetic . but that doesn't mean it's low quality. However, if deciding between Y EDP and Prada Luna Rossa Carbon for a first fragrance, or for starting a collection, I will recommend Carbon. Y EDP has better longevity and projection, but Carbon has better seasonal and social versatility, and is less divisive. 7.

Y EDP is a fragrance where you want to gain attention, Le Parfum is the exact opposite. I used to own Y EDP. Sold it because I found it much more synthetic that any Invictus and just too generic, which is weird because I don’t really find fragrances generic.
